WELCOME TO UNIVERSITY SYNAGOGUE’S LIVESTREAM SHABBAT SERVICES

In a joyous celebration of community, Judaism and Shabbat, we gather with songs, prayers, readings and learning as we celebrate “Shabbat B’Yachad” (Shabbat Together).  Our in-person and live streamed Shabbat experience are enlightening and uplifting.

Stay home or be with us at shul. It’s your choice.

Click here on a second device to follow the service from this PDF of our Shabbat prayerbook.  If you are following the service on live stream or a recording, each time Rabbi Rachlis announces the page number from the actual prayerbook, go to the “find page” section on your screen and increase that number by 30 (e.g., for page 19, type in 49).

The reason for this unusual situation is that when the Reconstructionist movement generously gave congregations a pdf, the 30 preface pages, which originally had Roman numerals, now became the first 30 pages of the prayerbook.  Don’t worry; just increase by 30.

After each live broadcast, a recorded version of the service can be found under the word “Archive,” which will appear either to the right or underneath the live stream player on your screen. Click on the image with the thumbnail and service title/date to view the archived service.  You can also find recently archived services and our upcoming service schedule underneath the video player.
